  • Mai (read : mei) = no
  • sabai dee mai? (read : sabai di mei) = how are you?

  • khop khun (read : kop kun) = Thank you
  • Mai ao (read : mei yo) = No,thanks
  • Sawatdee (read : sawatdi) = good morning,good day,good night,good bye
  • Tao rai ( read : to lai) = how much is it?, how much it costs?
  • Sawatdee ka (read : sawatdi ka) = hallo ( female speakers)
  • Sawatdee Krab (read : sawatdi krap) Hallo ( male speakers)
  • Khaw menu noi? (read : kau menu noi) = Can i see the menu? 
  • Aroi maak (read : aloi mak) = so delicious,so tasty
  • Im laeo (read : im lau) = I'm full
